Photos: Rohit Sharma And Jay Shah Visit Siddhivinayak Temple With T20 World Cup Trophy

Team India captain Rohit Sharma and BCCI secretary Jay Shah are in the headlines as they took the T20 World Cup Trophy to the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. This trophy was much needed for the men in blue as they had not won a single ICC trophy since 2013.

It’s important to mention that India’s T20 World Cup victory in the USA and the West Indies was their first win since 2007. The Siddhivinayak temple is a popular spiritual place where celebrities and devotees often hold special prayers for such achievements.

Team India’s return to the country from Barbados was celebrated like a festival. Additionally, photos of the trophy at the temple with Rohit Sharma and Jay Shah have quickly gone viral on social media.

Talking about Team India, they are currently on a break after their recent white-ball series against Sri Lanka. They won the T20I series but lost the ODI series against them.

After this, India will jump for the longer format and they will face Bangladesh in several formats. They will first play a two-match test series against September 19.

After the two Test matches, India will play three T20I matches against Bangladesh on October 6, 9, and 12. Following the Bangladesh series, India will play against New Zealand before flying to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar series.
