India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir, along with star batter Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, were seen at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport before flying to Kanpur for the second Test against Bangladesh. They shared a buggy, with Gambhir and Kohli having a conversation while Pant listened quietly sitting with them.

Gambhir and Kohli have a long history, from their time playing together for Delhi’s Ranji team. They had some tense moments during the Indian Premier League, but their off-field relationship stayed strong. After Gambhir became India’s head coach, they appeared in a BCCI special where they talked about their time together and their careers.

Pant, who also plays state cricket for Delhi, made his return to the Test team last week during the first match against Bangladesh. He was seen in another video with Gambhir and Kohli as they arrived at the Delhi airport on Tuesday.

Pant made a strong comeback to Test cricket with a brilliant 109-run innings in the second innings against Bangladesh. He started patiently, which frustrated the Bangladesh bowlers. In the first innings, he had already shown his form by scoring a fast 39 off 52 balls, but his innings was ended by Hasan Mahmud, who was in good form.

Virat Kohli had a tough time in Chennai. He scored 6 and 17 in the two innings. He struggled against the pace and spin of the Bangladesh bowlers. In the first innings, Mahmud troubled Kohli with his seam movement.
