India secured the series 2-0 with a seven-wicket win, successfully chasing a target of 95 runs in the fourth innings.

Kohli (29*) and Rishabh Pant (4*) took India to victory, with Pant hitting a boundary off Taijul Islam to seal the win. After the match, the Indian team was all smiles, with players congratulating each other after the victory. Among the various handshakes, a standout moment occurred when Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli shared a warm hug as Kohli made his way back to the pavilion. This drew the attention of all the fans.

On Day 5, play started with Bangladesh at 26/2 after 11 overs, behind India by 26 runs. Shadman Islam (7*) and Mominul Haque (0*) were batting. India got an early wicket when Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed Mominul for 2, bringing Bangladesh down to 36/3.
