However, according to a Cricbuzz report, Rohit Sharma will join the team on November 24 and is likely to be available for the pink-ball Test in Adelaide starting on December 6.

Rohit Sharma informed the BCCI about his unavailability for the first Test after his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, recently gave birth to a baby boy. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli will have to come up and score the runs for India. The deputy of Rohit Sharma for the first Test, Jasprir Bumrah has said that Kohli will do his work as batter.
