Full List Of Players With 2 Crore Base Price In IPL Mega Auction

The mega auction of IPL 2025 will happen on 24th and 25th November of this month where this event will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this auction, 1574 players from all around the corner are ready to have a bet on their future.

While all the franchises have already named the list of their retained players on 31st October, many star players including the domestic and international ones will join the auction pool for the next edition of IPL.

In the Jeddah auction, 13 players from Bangladesh, 12 from the Netherlands, and 10 from the USA will be available. Additionally, 9 players from Ireland, 8 from Zimbabwe, 4 from Canada, 2 from Scotland, 1 from Italy, and 1 from the UAE will also be part of the much-anticipated mega auction later this month.

Top players with a base price of INR 2 crore include big names like Mitchell Starc, Steve Smith, Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler, Kagiso Rabada, Jofra Archer, and Glenn Maxwell. Surprisingly, Ben Stokes did not register for the mega auction, skipping it for the second year in a row.

Stokes likely chose this to manage his fitness after a year with injuries. He missed two months after getting injured during The Hundred 2024 and only returned for the recent Test series in Pakistan.

Indian players Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer, who were recently released by their teams Delhi Capitals (DC), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have registered for the IPL 2025 mega auction with the highest base price of INR 2 crore.

Indian bowlers Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Arshdeep Singh are listed with a base price of INR 2 crore. Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan, who went unsold in last year’s auction, are listed at INR 75 lakh.
