In the 10th match of the Caribbean Premier League 2024, Guyana Amazon Warriors beat Saint Lucia Kings by six wickets. The match was played at the famous Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia.
In this match, Guyana won the toss and invited Lucia Kings to bat first. The batting of Saint Lucia Kings did not get off to a good start and they kept losing the wicket at regular intervals. Matthew Forde got the maximum 31 runs for the team, apart from him Johnson Charles got 19 runs for Saint Lucia.
The team was bundled out for 100 runs in just 14.3 overs. Gudakesh Motie got three wickets at the expense of 16 runs in 3.3 overs. Imran Tahir also did not leave behind and managed to get three wickets. Keemo Paul got two wickets.
Guyana Chased down this target in 10 overs at the loss of four wickets. Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored the maximum 47 runs for the team where he smashed seven sixes. His partner Tim Robbinson got 33 runs in 20 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes.
For Saint Lucia Kings, Noor Ahmad got three wickets.
