IPL Auction To Take Place On November 24, 25, Check The No. of Players From All Countries

The IPL 2025 mega auction will happen on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was first planned to be in Riyadh but was changed to Jeddah at the last minute. This two-day auction will be at the same time as the third and fourth days of the Test match between India and Australia in Perth. This is also the first time an IPL mega auction will take place on a Sunday and Monday.

The IPL auction is being held outside of India for the second year in a row. A total of 1,574 players have registered for the mega auction, including 1,165 Indian players and 409 players from other countries. The list has 320 players who have played at the international level, 1,224 players without international experience, and 30 players from Associate Nations, according to an official IPL statement.

According to sources, the IPL mega auction will be held at the Abady Al Johar Arena, and franchise owners and officials will stay at the Hotel Shangri-La. The hotel is close to the auction venue, and everything has been carefully planned to make sure the auction goes well.

There are 48 Indian players with international experience and 272 international players who have signed up for the auction. Most players are from South Africa, with 91 players from there joining the mega auction.

At the auction in Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25, there will be 76 players from Australia, 52 from England, 39 from New Zealand, 29 from Sri Lanka, 29 from Afghanistan, and 33 from the West Indies available for bidding.
