Who is Nitish Reddy?
Nitish Kumar Reddy was born on May 26, 2003, in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. His full name is Kaki Nitish Kumar Reddy. His father, Mutyala Reddy, used to work for Hindustan Zinc. Nitish started playing cricket at the age of 5 with a plastic bat and would often watch older players at the Hindustan Zinc grounds. His father quit his job when he was transferred to Udaipur so he could help Nitish focus on cricket. Nitish then joined VDCA camps and was coached by Kumara Swamy, Krishna Rao, and Watekar.

Nitish Reddy represented Andhra in domestic cricket and played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He began his professional career by making his first-class debut on January 27, 2020, when he played for Andhra in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy.
Nitish’s journey continued as he made his List A debut on February 20, 2021, during the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy, further establishing his presence in the domestic circuit. He marked another significant milestone in his career by participating in his first Twenty20 match on November 4, 2021, in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, a tournament that highlights young talent in T20 cricket.
