WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah Returns To Practise Net, Enjoyed Karan Aujla’s Song During Training

The spearhead of Indian fast bowling Jasprit Bumrah has returned to training after a long break. The fast bowler expressed his love for Punjabi music star Karan Aujla by bowling in the nets while a mashup of Aujla’s popular songs played in the background.

Bumrah also highlighted his admiration for Aujla by using one of the singer’s popular songs when he took photos with the ICC T20 World Cup Trophy.

In the nets, Bumrah looked fresh and worked diligently in the nets. At 30 years old, he last represented India in an international tournament, where he played a key role in the team’s victory, taking 15 wickets and earning the Player of the Tournament title. As per reports, he might be available for the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh.

India’s domestic season is busy, with a three-Test series against New Zealand lined up after their matches against Bangladesh. Bumrah, as well as Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Rohit Sharma, were left out of the Duleep Trophy squad.

The team management is cautious with Bumrah due to his history of injuries. After a long recovery from back surgery, they want him to rest before the much-awaited clash against New Zealand and Australia.
