The star batter of Team India Virat Kohli has arrived in Chennai for the 2-match Test series against Bangladesh. He flew from London to Chennai, where the Indian team will meet for the upcoming home Test.

Kohli reached the airport on Friday, September 13 with tight security. The 35-year-old had been spending quality time in London with his wife, Anushka Sharma, and their kids, Vamika and Akaay.

Kohli is returning to national duties after a month off from international cricket. He retired from T20I cricket after India won the T20 World Cup on June 29 in Barbados. When he returned to play ODIs during India’s tour of Sri Lanka, he didn’t do well with the bat. However, he will be eager to help the Indian team in the upcoming Test season.

The Indian team will have a training camp at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai before the series starts to get ready.

Kohli missed the 5-match Test series earlier this year because his second child, Akaay, was born. His last Test match for India was during the series against South Africa in December-January, where he turned out to be the highest run scorer for the team.
