VIDEO: Rishabh Pant smacks a 107m six, New Zealand players shocked

India’s wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant amazed cricket fans once again with his batting in Bengaluru on Saturday. During the ongoing first Test against New Zealand, he hit the ball out of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

When Rishabh Pant reached the 90s, he hit a massive 107-meter six off Tim Southee in the 87th over where he sent the ball out of the stadium. The loud sound of the bat hitting the ball echoed around the stadium, as players and fans watched the new red ball soar out of sight in this Test match.

The shot was so powerful that even the New Zealand players were stunned to see it. Glenn Phillips looked shocked, while Pant’s batting partner, KL Rahul, smiled quietly, impressed by his teammate’s incredible shot.

Rishabh Pant returned to the pavilion on unfortunate 99 runs. He was dismissed by the young pacer O’Rourke. Pant and Sarfaraz Khan had a partnership of 177 runs in 211 balls. In his 99 runs inning, the Indian wicket-keeper smashed nine fours and five sixes.

Sarfaraz scored his first international century and reached 150 in the second session before being dismissed by Tim Southee in the 85th over. His brilliant innings included 18 fours and 3 sixes, helping India turn the game around from the brink of defeat to a position of strength in this Test match.
