The former captain of Delhi Capitals Rishabh Pant was picked by the Punjab Kings during the IPL 2025 mock auction. He was bought for 20 Crore INR, the highest amount among all the marquee players. Pant parted away from DC right before the retention of players as he wanted to play for other teams.
Former Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul was bought by DC for 18 Crores INR. He was chosen to replace Rishabh Pant as captain at Ashwin’s mock auction.
England’s Jos Buttler was bought by the Gujarat Titans for 16 Crores INR in the same auction. He is also expected to get a big price at the IPL auction on November 24 and 25, with many teams wanting to sign him.
