The five-time IPL Champion, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bought seven players on Day 1 of the IPL 2025 Auction, including Ravichandran Ashwin and Noor Ahmad. On Day 2, they signed pacer Anshul Kamboj as their top pick. With Rs. 15.60 crore left, they needed to fill 14 slots, including three overseas players. Before the auction, CSK had retained Ruturaj Gaikwad, Matheesha Pathirana, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, and MS Dhoni.
