It is the biggest salary jump in IPL auction history.
RCB first purchased Jitesh for Rs 7 crore, but his price went up to Rs 11 crore when Punjab Kings (PBKS) exercised their Right to Match (RTM) option to retain him.

Not only this, in the auction fans saw Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer breaking the record Mitchell Starc. Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for INR 27 Crore and Iyer in 26.75 Crore by Punjab Kings.
